Optional ancillary equipment such a mixers are also available. International standard mini tank container, Pressurecube approved for class 3, 6.1 and 8 products. The Metercube, developed by Metano, is the first international standard 1000 litre stainless steel intermediate bulk container (IBC). Designed for 20 to fit into a 20 ft ISO containers, it is fitted with PTFE seals and high quality fittings as used in the tank container industry and thus parts are ready available. Approved for packaging Groups 11 and 111, it is fitted with a heating facility as standard and optional mixing equipment is available. The Pressurecube is the mini tank container brother of the Metercube. Again, 20 units will fit into a 20-ft ISO container. The 800 litre Pressurecube, available lined and unlined, has a 4 bar working pressure with top discharge and is therefore suitable for a wide range of products. Built to PD5500:2000 Cat3 it is approved to ADR/RID/IMDG/US DOT for world-wide use. Metano offers directly and through the Pool Operators the opportunity for users to outsource their IBC management logistics by providing the value added services of IBC tracking, cleaning, testing and repair, and transportation and warehousing. To assist in this, Metano has invested in state-of-the-art Internet based software to manage our expanding IBC world-wide fleet as well as customers. Sale and leaseback deals are available so users can benefit from international standardisation. Metano’s technical support group and engineering facilities offer innovative solutions by designing and modifying containers for specific applications. Heating and mixing solutions are designed for standard units thereby minimising costs and making the system a viable and cost effective option.
